Multiple Labels in Drag ‘n’ Drop

As mentioned in an earlier blog, users in Magic Studio can now add multiple labels to single hotspots. This is particularly useful where the drag and drop uses the “same answer” for a series of different questions. In this example, there are a number of different ways to get to the answers 2, 4, 6 and 8:

Using Audio Response in Drag ‘n’ Drop

You can now add audio responses to drag ‘n’ drop feedback – all you need is an audio file of the response you want to use. Any .mp3 you have the rights to use can be added, and your own recordings can be made with Audacity (free, open source, sound recorder and editor) before uploading them to Magic Studio. Here’s an example – when you get the label on the right colour, you can also hear, as well as see, feedback.

We’ve added a new feature to the Drag ‘n’ Drop tool which enables authors to use the same label on more than one hotspot.

During authoring you can use a previously created label to place on a new hotspot – either from a list of text labels or by choosing the same image from your content list.

Magic Studio will display the number of labels to be placed for the user (if there is more than one) so they know how many are left to go.
