We’ve checked that each asset is either in the public domain or has a licence, such has Creative Commons, making it available for use by teachers.  Plus we’ve tagged each asset to make it easier to find in Magic Studio.  We’re adding to this new channel all the time and will keep you updated on its progress.

Finally doing something with my pictures and videos http://blog.magicstudio.com/2008/06/26/doing-something-with-my-pictures-and-videos/ http://blog.magicstudio.com/2008/06/26/doing-something-with-my-pictures-and-videos/#comments Thu, 26 Jun 2008 09:08:54 +0000 markfarnell http://blog-new.magicstudio.co.uk/?p=20 I’ve been taking home movies for about 10 years now – but never really done anything with them. Its great to watch them soon after a holiday to show friends, but I just don’t get them out anymore. Plus we’ve now got literally thousands of digital photos just sitting on a hard drive.

Of course you’d expect that I’d say Magic Studio™ is a great tool for working with home media and during the testing and workload to get this latest version out, I’ve had a great excuse to raid some old home archives, edit some video and start to build something with it.

Its fantatstic to see the old videos and pictures again, but to also attach them to maps of where I’ve been, or timelines of what I did last year means I’ve now got a bit of a story to tell, rather than just something for people to look at at home.

So, why not have a look at some of the examples we’ve placed in the library. If you’ve got a lot of media to upload, do it overnight and then you’ll be creating interactives the next day in no time at all.
